Richard_branson_Kim_cropped photoNovember 2011 – Once again, Echelon members are invited to attend the 5th annual Rock the Kasbah Ball hosted by Sir Richard Branson and Eve Branson benefiting Virgin Unite and Eve Branson Foundation.  Our members joined together for another fabulous year and incredible evening of music along with surprise performance by Mary J. Blige and more. Members will have the opportunity to participate in our extraordinary auction. This year the focus of the event is to build opportunity for youth in America who face unprecedented unemployment through Virgin Unite; and in empowering young women in Moroccan villages to improve their own lives. Business, once again, is a force for good at Rock the Kasbah 2011.

Last year, guests enjoyed performances by Grammy Award Winners Colbie Caillat, Common, Robin Thicke and Sam Branson and his band Delilah. Prior galas have features performances by Estelle, Gavin Rossdale, Natasha Bedingfield, Jewel, Natalie Imbruglia, Elvis Costello, Criss Angel, Kelly Rowland, Dita Von Teese and many others. 35 of our Echelon members in Dallas flew into LA for a kick-off event hosted by Baroness Kimberly Moore and Dr. Raymund King at the luxurious DeVorzon Gallery (home of Barbara DeVorzon). This was a great way to get our Echelon LA and Dallas members acquainted before the big night at Rock the Kasbah Ball! The Echelon Club featured a surprise celebrity performance by Sir Earl Toon of  Kool in the Gang.

The evening closed with an incredible performance by Dutch recording artist Rick Vanderkleijn and violinist Michael Levine! It was lovely to see all our Echelon members joining together a long weekend of giving back! The party lasted all weekend long.. for a great cause!  The Echelon Club is looking forward to another year of exciting events. Moore plans to launch the Kimberly Moore Foundation and plans to travel back and forth to Dallas to help raise awareness and funds for a variety of programs.
